slow service unmotivated staff
The private beach access was certainly a plus.
The service seemed slow at times, and staff didn't always seem motivated. Ordering food to my room, I received a call asking me to change my order to save the server a walk. What I finally received barely resembled the menu description. I honestly doubted it was what I ordered.

the breakfast buffet included many options. the hotel grounds were well maintained (i especially liked the garden areas).

slow service outdated equipment
I noticed the beverage service around the pool could be slow at times. Staff members seemed stretched thin, especially during peak hours. Drink orders occasionally took longer than expected. the gym equipment is somewhat outdated. The treadmills felt old and the weight machines showed wear.

Balanced Stay Experience
amazing staff complimentary tea happy hour terrible food disappointing breakfast negative experience
The staff was amazing throughout the entire hotel. Said from the pool area particularly stood out. He was really good in his service. I also appreciated the complimentary afternoon tea and happy hour.
The food was not great at all. Restaurants had terrible food as well as room dining. Breakfast was also disappointing. This was quite surprising considering the hotel rating. It was a negative experience.

good selections helpful staff private beach
The breakfast features very good selections. The staff are attentive and helpful to all the guests. I enjoyed the private beach and the water activities there such as kayaking. I watched the sunset each evening from the beach.
The evening cocktail hours were short.
